Garden Community Church - What We Believe

We believe in One God, who is Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all things. We believe that God creates all things good, but because of our sin, all things are broken, fallen, and in need of restoration.

We believe that the Bible is Holy and Inspired, the very Word of God. We believe the Bible to be the story of God’s work of Salvation from the first days until now. It should be respected and studied as we seek to know more about God and His desire for us.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God. He is the only way to a restored relationship with God. Both fully God, and fully man, Christ entered the world to make right what went wrong. Jesus lived and taught a new way of living; one that isn’t centered on self, power, and persuasion, but one that is centered on God, service, compassion, and mercy. He was crucified and died in our place to save us from the eternal consequences of our sin. He rose from the grave and ascended into heaven, granting to us eternal life. He will return to judge the living and the dead, and His Kingdom will never end. It is through Jesus Christ that we receive salvation from sin, and it is by following Him that a lost and broken world is found and restored.
